Pink hair help!!!! i want my brown back?

hey everyone i have bright pink and purple hair and i'm gettin kinda tired of it, i've had it this way for quite a while. i would like to take it back to brown without it getting orange looking. i don't really want to bleach it. i've heard laundry detergent works. any suggestions.

If your hairs pink, a dark brown color should cover it up just fine, without looking orange. Laundry detergent is for laundry not your hair!

no no no, no laundry detergent. that never works at all for no hair problem. first you would need for the dye to grow out your hair first. u may have to dye it more than once to get the brown u want .once that is done u can dye it brown. if u try dying while your hair is that color now. u will get different colors and u dont want that. Or go to the hair salon so they can treat it with the right prouducts

use a dark color..

when i had mine pink i jsut washes it n washed it n washed it till it faded then dyed ova it.. but i dyed ova it with blonde so i dunno.. but that was fine so brown shud be too..

dont dont dont DONT use laundry detergent, or sun in on anything crappy like that. nothing from a box. since your going from one extreme to another you need to go professional. if you try to do anything yourself it could mess it up, like you said, turn orange, or something worse. plus laundry detergent, omg. please dont. like seriously, your hair will hate you. it will make your life miserable. lol. the stylists KNOW what they are doing. they can do whats best for your hair. dont do anything else. PLEASE! lol

i recommend that you go to a hairdresser this time to get your colour change.

then you can top up your regrowth yourself at home.

dont even bother trying laundry detergent.

your hairdresser may want to strip a little of the clour out of your hair before applying brown. i cant really comment on exactly what to do without seeing your hair first.
