Avril lavignes pink hair?

i have long, dark brunette hair, and i really want to put pink in it like avirls (im not doing this because i want to be like her, i just like it) i'll have it professionaly done and everything but i know before i dye it pink i have to lighten it. will all that dying damange my hair too much? is it worth it?

i say go for it! i did this with green,and it looked georgous! also you have to keep in mind,,that you only live once,so live it up! and it might damage it,but what i did was i did the 4 weekly treatments of hot oil in the shower,and it helped a lot, so pretty much,you can damage it,but there's always a way to get it back to normal,and it doesn't last that long[the damage] so i think you should do it. =]] hope ya do!

yeah it is damaging you can talk to the professional your going to go to. but lightening is harsh on hair. with bleach and you probably will have to get it bleach because your hair is dark.

you can get colured extensions that u can glue to your hair and r easy to remove. salons sell them.also, check online.
