I Want Pink Hair Again?

Okay I dyed my hair blonde and then put the pink in and didnt turn out as well as i hoped because the roots were really bright but the rest was darker.(roots were white, rest wad orangey, i know now its because i put the bleach-dye all on at the same time)

I dyed my hair dark brown now, which is darker than the natural colour.

I want pink hair again so can I bleach it seeing as I already dyed it blonde or will i have to dye it light blonde instead?

Will I need a pre-lightner because i dont want orangey-blonde hair under the pink again, I want whitish hair so when the pink fades it doesnt turn orange.

okay, SO-CALLED hairdressers that are answering your question are liars, i am sorry but if you listen to them you will ruin your hair, firstly you should NEVER EVER bleach to white, that in itself is a recipe for disaster, the furthest you should EVER bleach to is pale yellow (platinum is achieved with toner) now in your situation as you have put colours over the bleach in order to get back to a base appropriate for the pink colour then you will need to use colourfix colour remover which will remove the artificial pigment out of your hair leaving you free to bleach it, you will need to bleach to the pale yellow stage (think inside of a banana skin- creamy/pale yellow) but if your roots are white then PLEASE avoid them with the bleach or your hair WILL break off. once you are bleached to the correct level then you are free to apply the colour/toner of your choice, i would suggest something like manic panic or stargazer for punky colours.

Im a hair dresser and honestly id just leave your hair alone instead of using pre-lightner on top of exsisting pre-lightner and dye.

u don't want to abuse ur hair by putting so many lighteners in it. give it some time. go lighter gradually to start lifting that dark brown then think about going light blonde to then achieve the pink.

if your hair was orange you did not leave it on long anuff or you needed more bleach on. use a bleach all over kit if you have long hair use two make sure your hair is covered when your time is up get a piece of cotton wool and wipe the bleach of a piece of hair keep checking till it is the colour you want . then put the pink dye on and use a colour lock dye and shampoo for coloured hair it will make the colour last longer. been a hairdressers for 18 years good luck
