Seeking attention?-- what about individuality, and don't we all seek attention in some ways if not just wanting to purvey our uniqueness. people express themselves by dress, hair, body etc., but the irony is, god forbid you have too much individualism in which case you'll be labeled a freak, a social misfit etc.
LOL, if someone like pink, why not dye theirhair pink... because it's not in the norm? Neither was dying hair at all, Im sure the first ones who did caught the backlash from the same people who tried it later on when it was mainstream.

At times I look at it as different. There are times I think that the person is seeking attention and found a way to get it. Especially for a young teenage child who isn't getting enough attention from a parent or parents they lash out in different ways. But this is also a way of being your own person with your own opinion and no one can take that away. I just think that its a little to far but that's my thought on it.
