You have to bleach it first and then add the pink dye. It is best to have at least the bleaching professionally done, but I'm cheap so when I did it I did it myself. It was fairly easy, but I have medium brown hair so I didn't need to leave the bleach on very long. I used the bleaching kit by manic panic and it was really easy, it comes with everything you need in it (i think its called flash lightening, or something like that, it will be by the pink dye at Sally's in a black box)

As far as the pink dye, I would recommend manic panic. Its a good brand and you can get it at Sally's Beauty Supply. I've used hot hot pink and red passion (it comes out pink despite the fact that it says red) and both looked really good. I think I actually prefer the red passion because it has less of a purple tone than the hot hot pink did. You can go to the manic panic website and browse around, they have pictures of peoples result with each color. as far as how long it last, the pink will stay in my hair for about a week and a half, but I do things that take the color out, like washing it everyday and using a straightener. The hair underneath that doesn't get the wrath of my straightener stays bright pink but the ends fade.

For about $10 bucks buy powder Bleach, developer ( i use the the 40 creme), and application brush, than buy the pink permanant hair dye sold in clear containers with a black round top I believe. I dyed pink streaks in my hair came out great and bright. But I didn't use any type of color treaded shampoo and it faded quickly... but it looked great - I have dark brown hair by the way. But you can go to a beauty supply store (like Sally's) and buy the bleach (if you have darker hair) and the pink there. You can also usually find the stuff at the mall (hot topic usually has it) or online.

If he bites his nails it's cause you aren't cutting them often enough. Keep them short for him so he is more comfortable.. It hurts their feet to have nails that are too long.

Does the Sunsilk Hydra TLC (pink bottle) actually repair damaged hair?

Does it really work? I bought it yesterday because my hair is SOOO split and kinky and fried. I'm growing it out though and using the flat iron about once every 2 or 3 months just to be on the safe side.

So does it really repair it? also, do you think the 24/7 creme makes your hair greasy, or do you like it?

I don't use just the 24/7 creme, I use the whole trio (the shampoo, conditioner, and creme). I have to admit that I am in love with it! My hair was so fried and damaged too, and I figured that Sunsilk would just be like every other shampoo... it wasn't. It leaves me hair so soft and smooth and I have less frizz too!

Just remember, however, that this isn't a miracle worker that will work over night. Although, the first day I used the shampoo, conditioner and creme, I noticed a difference (but there was still damage). I have been using it for almost three months now and my hair is pretty much damage free, although I get occasional split ends if I don't get my hair trimmed about once a month.

So, to answer your question, yes it does repair it.. over time. But in the meantime, you will notice stronger and more manageable hair instantly. I love the creme the best because it's a gel, but also a leave-in conditioner that won't leave a residue or leave hair greasy. This is truly an amazing product!

I have used this product and can't say that it did a whole lot for my hair. I have some pretty gnarly split ends because my hair is long and I have found that anything that is super creamy and conditioning (and probably a little pricier) works. Pantene has a really good product that comes in a little tub that is really thick. I leave it in as long as possible in the shower and use it twice a week. Mix up your products too. Don't get stuck using the same old things.

If you have light hair, you can colour your hair with Kool-Aid temporarially. Add just enough water to make the Kool-Aid poweder into a paste, put it in your hair and let it sit for about 20 minutes(0r longer) rinse the powder out and voila. Funky coloured hair!

Bleach your hair and use koolaid or buy some temporary colored spray...that's really messy though, it gets all over your clothes and face if you have long hair!

A long time ago friends and I used to use Kool-Ade to dye hair. Not sure how well it worked, mine didn't work too well because I have pretty dark hair. If you have lighter hair it might work though. And it washes out when you shower. Not sure on the details, might want to research it on yahoo.

Ive never heard that..thats interesting. I use it on my husbands hair, so It would be nice to know if it was bad! Also, I dont know if youve seen it, but I use Lusters Light Pink oil moisturizer on my kids hair, because they are mixed and their hair isnt as thick as their dads, the regular lusters is a little much for it..That works so well. Theres just so many products out there, we are constantly trying new stuff to see what works best. Another thing that works real good is this stuff called perm repair ( he perms his hair and usually keeps it in braids, but it moisturizes very well) and this other stuff called parnevu (spelling)..Hope this helps

It depends. I used it when younger, but it has the tendecy to dry out the hair when the wetness of the product evaporates. (It also broke me out). You should try Liv, but be aware that you should use sparingly because it can get thick.

no. i knew a girl who always had pink hair. i complimented her on it one day and she explained to me that she had actually dyed it black, but because of the chemistry of her hair, the pink pigment was all it would hold! it would stay black for a few days, then it would go neon pink for a couple of months. it was really pretty. very soft and silky too. she was one of the sweetest girls i've ever met. we worked together and she was a really nice person. she didn't hang out with the 'party crowd' the ones who went out to smoke and talk about going out drinking after work, didn't wear trashy clothes... she was the kind of person that my mom would have chosen for me to be friends with, if she could have chosen my friends for me. i really don't judge people on hair color. i know i've done some pretty stupid things with a bottle of hair dye! i wouldn't want people to judge me by them!

well i started dying my hair at a young age,

i got blonde highlights all thru my hair when i was like 11 or 12

you would be fine if you just dont do it too often.

buying hair extensions that clip in that are blue,red,pink whatever colours you like would be good that way you wouldnt be damaging your hair and you could remove them wenever and they would last longer

but dying your hair that colour will fade very fast and it wouldnt be worth it, especially if you have brown hair as it would have to be bleached first.

Hmm, I'd say 12 is the youngest... so yeah you're a great age... I think it would add some flair to your personality, get temporary, and see how you like it... thats how i get my parents to say yes!! ( : and just keep doing temporary... and you can keep doing it different colors... its great!

If you want vibrant colorful shades that are very visable, try using Manic Panic, you can find it at hottopic. Its cheap and works really good.

For cheap hairdye to experiment, just use kool-aid. Soak your hair in it for 20-30 minutes[depending on how dark your hair is] and you will get results.

Also, if you want a nice, professional dye with some tints and color, use paul mitchell. they have tints and just regular shades that will work wonders on your hair.

For strieks of color, use colour rays[you can find them at meijers, walmart and walgreens] they work well and dont fade till about after 3 months.

Here's the thing.. if you have brown hair and you want these colors to stand out.. your going to need to bleach the streaks first.. this way when you put the color in.. they actually stand out and are noticable.. but any sally beauty supply store carries they different colors... and for the bleach.. you can get those anywhere you would by hair dye.. they usually come in a box saying highlights.. good luck

I'd say you're going to have to go to a professional. If you want bright pink you're going to have to get your hair bleached first. You may be able to do it yourself with light blond hair but I don't guarantee it. Make sure there's quite a few days between the bleaching and the dying or your hair's gonna get seriously messed up.

I'm a dog groomer, and I own a pure white husky who I color quite frequently. We do our college colors on major game days, and things like that.

I use Blo-Pens. They are safe, nontoxic and will wash out.

Be sure to bleach it first. The BEST funky type color is a brand called "Special Effects". It is a vegetable color. I leave it on about 2 hours (which is safe) and it lasts about 2 months. I wash my hair everyday too. And when the color does gradually wash out, it just gets lighter, it doesnt turn that ugly washed out blonde.

The best pink they have is called Atomic Pink. I know that you can buy it online. I used to be a hairstylist and this is truly the best one I have ever used. Have fun!

Hi! Now that your hair is bleached is hard for the color to last longer. Is because don't have a base to hold on. Now, do this it will last longer. Use a none permanent color(impermanent)normally it last between 6 or 10 washes depend on the porosity of the hair. Put some color on your hair with out mixing it with the peroxide,(this is to add more pigmentation) then mix extra color with the emulsion that comes with the impermanent color and apply it on the hair (previous color with out mixing) live it for 15 or 20 minutes (depend on manufacture instruction) shampoo with could water and gentle movement.Then use Cellophane Clear to seal the cuticle, this will help to last longer. Apply moderate heat for 10 minutes, rinse out use conditioner if you want it to. ok! now is ready to style as usual. Have fun!
