I'm not sure what ONE day pink dye is, there are color stripping shampoos but you are always safest going to a professional who knows color and color re-do's....I've seen a lot of tragedy when you color over color at home....if you damage the hair enough even a professional will not be able to do anymore for some time. Be sure to bring the product in so they can see exactly what it was.

Or, do a wild do (hair do) and pretend it was intended....some times brazening it out is the easiest way to go......

Try some antidandruff shampoo it should help if it doesn't go to a hairdressers

I would try adding some baking soda to shampoo to wash it with. Green shampoos (Prell, Pert, etc) can cut red dye.

If it doesn't come out after 3 washes then you could try one of the temporary blonde color mousses (probably simialar to what she used, except yellow/blonde instead of red/pink) to cover the pink. I am talking about the ones that you use when you just want a different color for the evening, or to complete a costume.

If you don't get it all out or cover it up, style it in a way that hides as much as you can. Otherwise, just choose funkier accessories and go with it! *grins*

That result is typical with blonde hair, even if it is temporary. You could try a clarifying shampoo, but that might not be enough. You could call around to salons and find one that does Malibu or ec mode treatments - that would get it out better than anything else. You might just have to wait it out though.
