I dunno about that, but I am a cosmetologist, and I introduced my girlfriend/fiance' to biosilk silk therapy, I am a believer in it. It can be a bit pricey, but buy a small bottle first and see if you like it. It actually uses real silk proteins and calms your hair and makes it feel really like silk. And another plus it can be used on your skin too.

Yes, i use to regulary use it and i found it made a difference, but try not to use too much as it can make your hair quite greasy.
