Pink hair tips?

I have dark brown hair, and I want to dye some of my hair tips pink. But i dont want it to be perminate. I heard that you have to bleach your hair if it dark before dying it. But in case i didnt like the pink, would i have to dye the bleached hair back to my brown color? *many question to come..lol*

Try to go to Sally's Beauty Supply. They have a lot of wash out and temporary colors you could maybe try before you decide to change your hair color.

Bleaching your hair is permanent, and if you put a pink color on top the lighter tips, the pink will fade over time (but not all the way... there will usually be a tint of the color you have dyed it to). If you want it back to your natural color you will then have to color it again, but beware that it will not be easy to match the color because you have bleached your hair so light and put pink on it...

After all of that process, you might have to just cut the ends because it will dry your hair out and cause split ends.

if you wanted to dye the tips of your hair pink, brown is not the color for you. Try a blond or golden. If you don't like it afterwards you can't change it immediately because it has something to do with the chemicals and too much chemicals can cause breakage. Try the washout pink. Talk to your hair stylist for the technical details.

For pink tips to show up - you have to permanently bleach your tips for the pink to show.

DO NOT DO THIS YOURSELF!

You are going to want an even cohesive look - and that takes a second person. Get a professional to do it so you don't get a lot of damage to your hair - and they can properly remove the effect later.
