Question about pink hair color...?

2 weeks ago, i went to Mario Tricoci and got dark brown hair with pink chunks under... but now, the pink color is starting to fade, they did use bleach to do the pink... today i went to a hair salon and they told me that the fading was normal when bleach has been used, that the first time it always fades no matter if its pink, red, blue etc,... but that the 2nd time that it has been done it will last longer....and 3rd last moree etc... IS THAT TRUE???

No, because the color will always fade after about 2 months, but you can probably go and get it done again for cheaper.

Yeah, it's true. It shouldn't have been totally bleached out, it should've been bleached to a copper red. That way you had a base color for the pink to cling to and hold to.

The next few times you color it, it'll be building a base color for your future coloring...if you don't have any color in your hair, the color won't take correctly. Like...when you want to color your hair back to natural or your current allover color, it'll have to have a color filler put in it first (a replacement for the missing base color...aka - underlying pigment) so the more permanent color you want will be the right color and hold longer.

no, all colors epsecially reds and pinks will fade. it might hold up longer by one wash, and thats generally it. i know i hate fading hair color. mine usually stays bright for a week then it goes down hill : (

that cant be tru,but it doesnt hurt to dye it the same colour twice juz to make sure.

i've had my hair every color out there and all of them faded after a while. pink/any red fades the fastest out of any color i have ever had.

i suggest you just start dying the pink yourself though. have a friend help you with it. if its just chunks, it will be extremely easy. just section off the pieces you wanna dye. if you want pink, get manic panic. they have really bright pink. the only hting is that its semi-permanent, which means it will fade after about 2 weeks depending on how often you wash it. there's no permanent bright pink hair dyes, so manic panic is your best bet. also, its really cheap and it's re-usable. if you don't use the whole container, it coems witha lid so you don't have to throw out the leftover.

Eventually the color will fade within a few months, that just happens as you wash your hair and it grows out the color.
