I really love Avril's pink hair in the music video "Girlfriend" and I want to get my hair done like that...

~What is a good brand to use?

~Will it still show up if i do it over my blond highlights (i have medium brown hair)?

~If you could find a GOOD picture that shows her pink/blond hair I can take to my hairdresser, that would be great.

~Tips on dying your hair a bright color (never did it before)?

If your hair is a dark color your hair might not look good pink like avrils. You might get red if you dye it over the blonde highlights. I'd ask my stylist if she thinks it'll look good and come out pink like avrils before getting it done.

if you want to do something drastic like that, you need to make sure your hair is more even toned and light first.. any thing drastic, i would suggest using a very professional stylist who has done it plenty of times before... if you really want the right results.. good luck.
